Localised fullness
Fat beneath the skin can create a small area of fullness that differs from the surrounding contour.
HIFU & fat-dissolving injections
A body contouring option for localised fullness, using HIFU or fat-dissolving injections. The aim is a change in a selected area's contour, with a different role from general weight management.

A pocket of fat can remain noticeable even when your weight is stable. The abdomen and flanks are examples of areas where localised fullness may affect the body's outline.
Fat Reduction concerns fat beneath the skin in a defined area. Skin laxity is a separate issue: removing fullness does not by itself explain how loose skin will respond.
Fat beneath the skin can create a small area of fullness that differs from the surrounding contour.
A change in one area's volume can affect the outline beside it. Contouring considers that relationship, without setting a target body weight.
Skin and underlying fat are different tissues. Reduced elasticity can contribute to a loose outline even where there is little fat to address.
Two fat reduction methods
HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy within selected tissue. Fat-dissolving injections place a solution directly into a pocket of fat. Both approaches concern localised contour, with different methods of reaching the target tissue.
Focused ultrasound delivers energy beneath the skin to targeted tissue. In a suitable body contouring application, this can disrupt fat cells in the selected area.
An injected solution can disrupt fat cell membranes. The body then processes the affected cells gradually; the reaction and degree of change vary.
The treated area changes as the body responds. A contour response is gradual and depends on the tissue and method used, without a fixed result for everyone.
Treatment price
The published package covers six sessions of Fat Reduction. HIFU, fat-dissolving injections or a combination may form part of it; the package is not a weight-loss programme.
Fat Reduction
£995
Six body contouring sessions using the method agreed for your localised concern.
Consultation fee: £120. This is deductible from the cost of treatment if you decide to proceed with the recommended plan.

We distinguish the pocket of fat from skin laxity and look at how the area relates to the surrounding contour. Previous procedures can affect this assessment.
We examine the proposed area and its skin elasticity, and ask about changes in weight, previous body treatments and medicines.
We explain the role of HIFU or injections for that tissue, the proposed sequence and possible reactions. You receive aftercare advice before proceeding.
We review the area's contour and skin response during the six-session plan. Any adjustment needs to account for the tissue's response to the chosen method.
Body pathways
Fat Reduction addresses localised fullness. Skin Tightening focuses on skin texture and laxity, while Body Rejuvenation combines light-based care for colour and firmness. More than one concern can occur in the same area.
Explore Body TreatmentsNon-surgical fat reduction in London may help refine selected localised areas rather than support general weight loss. This pathway includes HIFU as a technology-led contouring option, with the method chosen according to the area and the concern being treated.
Focused ultrasound energy may help address selected areas of localised fat where HIFU is appropriate. A change in the treated area can reduce the appearance of fullness rather than alter overall body weight.
Targeting a specific contour concern may help the treated area look more defined. The intended change is localised refinement, with the degree of response depending on your starting point and selected method.
Reducing selected localised fullness can help an area sit more comfortably within your wider body proportions. This is not an approach designed to create a standard body shape.
Area-focused treatment may help soften the visible prominence of a localised contour concern. Fat reduction and skin firmness remain different aims, so reduced fullness does not imply that loose skin will also change.

Fat Reduction questions
The pathway uses HIFU, fat-dissolving injections or a combination. Ultrasound delivers energy beneath the skin; injections place a solution into selected fat tissue. The method depends on the tissue and your medical suitability.
No. It addresses localised fat and the contour of a selected area. It does not replace medical advice about weight or a wider approach to nutrition and physical activity.
Selected pockets of fat on the body may be considered, including concerns around the abdomen or flanks. We must examine the tissue and its overlying skin before recommending a method for a particular area.
The £995 package includes six Fat Reduction sessions. The agreed plan sets out which method is used and how the sessions relate to your localised concern, along with aftercare for that method.
We check the tissue in the proposed area, including its fat and skin elasticity. Your medical history and earlier body procedures help determine whether HIFU or injections are appropriate.
The two may be considered together when localised fat and skin laxity are separate parts of the concern. Each method needs its own role in the plan, and combination is not automatic.
Changes develop as the body processes the treated tissue. Swelling or tenderness may affect how the area looks at first. We explain the expected response and aftercare for your method without promising a particular contour.
HIFU uses high-intensity focused ultrasound to deliver energy at a selected depth beneath the skin. In body contouring, that energy may be used to target localised fat tissue. The depth and approach depend on the area being assessed. We examine your anatomy and skin quality before deciding whether HIFU has a role in your Fat Reduction plan.
Fat Reduction focuses on localised contour, while Skin Tightening focuses on the condition and firmness of your skin. A fuller area and loose skin can need different approaches, even when they occur together. We assess the area before recommending a route. Our Skin Tightening page explains the separate pathway for firmness and texture.
HIFU itself uses ultrasound energy and does not require an injection to deliver that energy. Our Fat Reduction pathway also includes a separate injectable option, so the method agreed for you matters. We explain which approach is being recommended and why. The treatment sequence and relevant risks are discussed for the selected method before you decide whether to proceed.
Body fat distribution can leave some areas fuller than others even when your everyday habits are consistent. Our Fat Reduction page addresses that kind of selected contour concern. It does not provide a diagnosis for weight changes. We assess the area in relation to your wider proportions and medical history before discussing whether a clinic-based contouring option is suitable.
Questions about localised fullness
If a pocket of fullness concerns you, tell us where it is and how it has changed. We discuss fat reduction separately from weight management and skin laxity.
