Facial laxity and support

Firm & Lift.

Firm & Lift compares skin laxity with lost facial support. SkinTyte delivers infrared warmth for firmness; Sculptra stimulates collagen where changes in volume and structure are part of the concern.

Loose skin and lost volume

Two changes that can soften facial contours.

A less defined jawline can reflect loose skin, a change in facial volume or both. The same distinction matters across the face and neck. Firm & Lift brings these concerns together without assuming that one treatment addresses them all.

  • Face Changes in facial fullness can alter the balance between the cheeks and lower face. Collagen-led support may have a role when reduced volume is part of that change.
  • Jawline Skin that has become less taut can soften the outline of the lower face. Adding volume does not address every form of jawline laxity.
  • Neck Reduced neck firmness can develop alongside facial changes. Infrared treatment addresses skin support here, with settings selected for the neck itself.

Sculptra

Collagen-led support for changing facial structure.

Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid, which stimulates collagen production as the material is absorbed. This gradual tissue response can support facial volume and definition. It differs from applying infrared warmth through the skin surface, and does not replace a separate approach to skin laxity.

1 vial £535 The one-vial option relates to Sculptra support in the selected facial area.
2 vials £895 The two-vial option allows a different amount of Sculptra within the agreed facial plan.

Compare firmness and facial volume

Match the change to its tissue target.

SkinTyte and Sculptra reach supporting tissue in different ways. One introduces warmth from outside the skin; the other uses an injectable collagen-stimulating material. When both loose skin and volume change are present, their separate roles can be considered together.

01

Volume and facial support

Sculptra may help where reduced fullness affects facial contours. Collagen stimulation supports a gradual tissue change without promising a particular degree of volume.

02

Firmness without added volume

SkinTyte warms deeper skin while cooling the surface. Its role is skin laxity, including the lower face and neck, without placing a volumising material there.

Overlapping contour concerns

A face can have reduced fullness and loose skin at the same time. Combining options depends on whether each treatment addresses a distinct part of that change.

    Map the contour change

Show us where definition has softened and tell us about previous facial procedures. We examine facial fullness and skin laxity as separate concerns.

  2. 02
    Compare the treatment roles

We check whether infrared warmth, injectable collagen stimulation or neither fits the tissue change. Your medicines and earlier treatment reactions form part of that decision.

    Agree the next step

We explain the proposed area and treatment response. The recommendation may be SkinTyte, Sculptra, a combined approach or no treatment.

Infrared within Firm & Lift

Skin firmness from outside the skin

SkinTyte applies infrared energy through the skin surface with cooling. The resulting warmth may encourage collagen remodelling in deeper layers, with firmness changes developing over time. This part of Firm & Lift focuses on laxity on the face, jawline and neck.

SkinTyte Infrared warmth addresses reduced tautness without adding facial volume.
Sculptra Injectable collagen stimulation has a separate role where facial support and fullness have changed.

Benefits of Firm & Lift

Facial skin tightening in London through Firm & Lift brings together collagen support and light-based care for the face, jawline and neck. Sculptra and SkinTyte may help address different aspects of skin firmness and facial definition, separately or within a selected combination.

Firmer-looking facial skin

SkinTyte uses controlled infrared warmth to encourage the skin response associated with firmness. This may help skin affected by laxity look more supported without adding facial volume.

Support for natural collagen

Sculptra is designed to stimulate the skin's collagen response. This can support changes in skin quality and facial structure, with the degree of visible change varying between individuals.

A more defined-looking jawline

Collagen support and treatment directed at skin laxity may help refine the appearance of the lower face. The aim is renewed definition that works with your existing facial structure.

More supported-looking neck skin

SkinTyte may help address firmness concerns around the neck through controlled infrared energy. Supporting skin quality in this area can contribute to a more connected-looking lower-face and neck contour.

Frequently asked questions

What are the options for facial skin tightening?

At our London clinic, Firm & Lift brings together more than one way to support firmness across the face, jawline and neck. Your clinician may suggest Sculptra, an injectable used for support and definition, SkinTyte, a technology-led treatment for skin laxity, or a combined plan. The recommendation follows an assessment of your features, skin quality and goals.

What is the difference between Firm & Lift and SkinTyte?

Firm & Lift is our wider plan for firmness and definition, and SkinTyte is one treatment that may be part of it. SkinTyte uses infrared light to warm the skin and support its natural repair response. Firm & Lift can also include Sculptra or a combination, depending on whether your priority is skin quality, facial support or both. The SkinTyte page explains that technology on its own.

Is Sculptra or SkinTyte better for a softening jawline?

Either may be considered for the jawline, and the choice depends on what is causing the change you notice. Sculptra can be considered where subtle support and renewed definition are the priority. SkinTyte may be selected when skin laxity and reduced firmness are the main concern. Some patients benefit from both, so we assess your lower face at consultation before recommending a route.

Can facial skin tightening include the neck?

Yes, the neck can be part of a facial skin tightening plan. We select options for the neck according to its skin quality and firmness, and we look at how it relates to your jawline and overall facial balance. Which treatment we suggest for the neck is decided after your assessment, once we understand the changes you have noticed.

Will I still look like myself after Firm & Lift?

That is the aim of every Firm & Lift plan. We respect your natural structure and focus on the areas where support, skin quality or subtle contour can make a meaningful difference. Firmness changes gradually, so we plan at a pace that suits your goals. Our journal article on facial firmness after 40 explains more about why these changes happen.
